I've stayed at the Tolarno every year for the last 10 years (Grand Prix time) but it seems that under new management the standards have slipped. The housekeeping was erratic and the building's outer door, supposedly secure with a PIN code, was left unlocked every night. The inner door, supposedly secure with guests needing to swipe their room card, was also left unlocked. Despite telling the desk manager this three days in a row, it was not fixed. The hotel is in quite a gritty area (which we knew) but the lack of security was quite concerning. I'll think twice before staying there again.
