We liked that it was so close to Lygon Streets shops & restaurant virtually out the front door 30 steps & you were there, a hidden gem.

Really great location, easy parking, plenty of food and drink places, close to grocery store and chemist. Good sized apartments, comfortable bed, a bit on the older style for decor but so what? It is odd that there’s no pots and pans in the self contained apartments though. Friendly staff.

*Wifi password is emailed by reception, they don't just give it to you at check in. I didn't receive the email until one hour after check in. The concierge assured me the email had been sent and checked my email details etc. The email finally popped up during the second discussion with concierge, time stamped one hour earlier at my check in time. I encountered the same problem in a previous stay with Quest Carlton on Finlay. I have Telstra 4G and was sending/receiving other emails prior to the follow up with concierge one hour later. *One of the block-out blinds in my apartment had been removed and the blind roller was damaged. *I could hear the elevator all night, annoying as the apartment block was otherwise very quiet. *Check out: A different concierge (a female, sorry I can't recall her name). She was friendly, professional and efficient. Her warm and personable service made a distinct impression and lifted my spirits as I left the hotel. Check-out experience very quick and easy.
