"The staff at this property were super lovely. Professional and friendly.
I was visiting for a family funeral and they showed so much compassion. It was a really lovely touch - a card, ice cream and chocolate was delivered to our room soon after arriving. A very kind and thoughtful action.
Even on check out the other staff member on shift was equally lovely and professional.
Although property is in Manly it is close enough to the Corso to walk but not in the hustle and bustle.
Highly recommend! "
"Excellent location with partial beach views. Clean modern room with only overhead lighting and basic facilities, but good size smart tv. No restaurant. Nearby public carpark for a fee at reception. A bit pricey but overall ok. "
"The location is great, 1 block from the beach.
There is no A/C. Ok for most days with a cool ocean breeze. Had a record hot spell for 2days, 85F and so a little warm at night"
"Loved the classic hostel feel and intense walkability and beach access. The facility needs some repairs, but if you're young and traveling and need an inexpensive place, perfect. It's loud, but no more so than any other hostel experience. I felt a bit too old to be there at 29, but then again I'm fairly low key and wasn't keen on the party life."
"Sadly, after staying here for some time, I am unable to get any response or feedback to my enquiries regarding the "deposit" for the room key.
Notably the value of the deposit is below the interest of credit card companies and as such I feel I have lost or had stolen $30 for a key which was returned to the "returned key box" in reception.
Granted a minor thing, but the weekly rate for this place kept increasing and for a property without A/C and very limiting facilities which needed...

"Customer service was first class and restaurants and roof top bar were fabulous. The late service for after dinner drinks was as great too and breakfast was amazing and was excellent being across the road from the terminal"

"Only planned on a one night stay , but our cruise plans were changed and we stayed four nights. The Hotel Staff was Great , especially trying to extend our stay with the help of Expedia's rooms available. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The Hotel is only a very short walk from the Cruise Terminal and the entire Sydney Harbor Area. Dining in the immediate area was wonderful. Highly Recommended if you are taking a cruise out of Sydney. Location is a big Plus."
