"We were so pleased (and lucky) to have experienced our time at the colony and our hearts go out to all in Hanalei, Haena, and the North Shore on Kauai after Lowell hit. We were able to leave the island a few days early and are safely back in Seattle. So saddened to see the destruction from the hurricane and know people are suffering without power or in some cases water/food. Would love to know how we can help."

"The property is in a lovely location with views of both the ocean and the mountains. The staff was friendly and attentive. The complimentary shuttle was really convenient and we used it frequently in order to avoid having to find parking. The onsight restaurant is amazing and the coffee shop perfect for our needs. We loved the beauty and peace of the property. The newly renovated pool was also a nice place to spend time. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was out of order the entire week we were there."

"The condo was clean and nicely outfitted with everything that was needed to enjoy our stay. The location is terrific and allows you to fall asleep each night listening to the waves and rain. Our balcony was used daily with a lovely breeze and great views of the sea. The only challenge we had in staying in this unit was that we didn't realize until just before our trip that were unable to use the complimentary shuttle to hike the Na Pali coast, so needed to make other arrangements. We learned that this specific unit uses another rental company and is why we couldn't use it. With that said, we look forward to coming back."

"This is a great property full of little thoughtful things that make your stay memorable and comfortable. We had six people and the three bedrooms with all king size beds, access to their own balconies, and windows galore was the best part about this place. The calm and peace that comes with the space is special. There are nature’s alarm clocks (roosters, dogs) that you will certainly hear in the mornings, but we were for the most part unbothered and able to return to sleep. However, to some, it may be a “nuisance “. So make note of that and expect it when you stay. The vibes and the aloha definitely succeed any occasional noise. There are some harmless little bugs that do get into the home. The windows are open and you’re in the jungle by a stream. Expect it. No harm done and nothing that stopped us from enjoying our stay. Close to stop many beaches and little areas to shop, pick up ice and groceries, alcohol within about 11 minutes. Close to the Ha’ena state park. The host was easily reachable via text and available and accommodating. I can’t express more how much we enjoyed our and we will definitely be back! A hui Ho!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing stay at this clean, inviting condo in the most amazing location. Falling asleep to & waking up to the sound of the ocean is the most relaxing experience. The location of this condo is absolutely amazing, step out from the lanai to the gorgeous beach or sit on the lanai and soak in the beauty while you drink coffee! It has everything you need to have an amazing trip on Kauai. Cute coffee shop on the property & Gaia the restaurant on the property has delicious food. Close to many world famous beach spots, but also you don't need to go anywhere because the beach is at your doorstep."
