"This is a terrific ground level studio unit next to the parking. It is well maintained. The host was very responsive when we had a small issue with the shower head and he replaced it with an amazing unit you will enjoy. Hanalei Bay Resort (HBR) has been a special vacation place for us for nearly 40 years. While the Bali Hai restaurant is not up and running again, they do serve pizza which was pretty good. For some reason the jets in the HBR hot tub were not operating."

"We had a wonderful stay in Hanalei with our family. The location was beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect spot to enjoy all that Kauai has to offer. The home was comfortable and welcoming, and we loved making special memories together in such a beautiful place. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The best part of this rental is the lanai where you can sit and enjoy a breathtaking view. Multiple days we saw rainbows. The bed was comfortable and the pull out bed was perfect for my two children. When I had a question it was answered right away. We would love to stay here again!"

"We had an awesome stay! The room was comfortable, spotless, and beautifully decorated with an adorable contemporary surfer-inspired summer vibe. The air conditioner worked well, the temp outside was really hot this weekend and luckily no rain.The view of Hanalei Bay from the room was absolutely spectacular and made every morning feel special and having coffee on the lanai was a great start to the day.The resort grounds were stunning, with lush tropical landscaping that was impeccably maintained. We enjoyed both pools, the large pool with its waterfalls and hot tub was fantastic, and the smaller pool area with BBQ grills was perfect for relaxing and cooking meals. There are also tennis courts, and lawn games plus two restaurants on the property. There was a convenient trail down to Pu'u Poa Beach, so really, you could stay on the property the entire time. Shops in Princeville was a short few min. drive away and you're just a hop, skip, and jump to Hanalei.The resort staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful, and always on top of things. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The golf carts were needed to get to and from room with luggage and the wait was no more than 10 min. when called.Everything exceeded our expectations,5-star stay and we will definitely be coming back. Mahalo nui for a wonderful experience! "

"Overall a great stay - proximity to 1Hotel and the beach was fantastic. Two complaints:1. Cleanliness. While the linens were clean (most important thing), the floor was dirty (could feel it under your feet), mirrors were smudged, and the shower felt a bit dirty. For the outrageous cleaning fee charged after each guest, this thing should be spotless - guarantee a mop/ steamer is not used between visits.2. Additional Fees. While the property description does mention there will be additional fees OUTSIDE the VRBO fees, it is not prominently noted. If you aren’t reading every single word carefully when you book, you’ll miss it. Be warned, you pay an additional 50 check in fee, 25/day resort fee and 20/day parking fee GET & TAT Tax)."

Hanalei Bay Resort Ocean Front Unobstructed Bali Hai View!

"The view from the patio is incredible. The mountain bay view is unobstructed and absolutely beautiful. There was also a ton of space indoors for our family of 6. We had some issues the first night with the air mattresses not holding air & not having enough bedding for the air mattresses. This was fixed the next day but it was definitely an inconvenience the first night. I was a little worried about not being able to park in front of the condo, but the walk from the parking lot was only 5 minutes and we also used the golf carts a lot and it was very doable. The golf carts were especially nice when it rained and they could pick us up right from our doorstep and take us to our vehicle. I appreciated the beach chairs & coolers that were at the condo. There was even a large ice pack in the freezer to use. We were able to pack a lunch, go to the beach, and then stay there most of the day. It was so fun :)"
