Holiday Homes in Lawson

Our one night stay at Silvermere exceeded our expectations, the photos on the website did not do the beauty of this B&B any justice. My family of 4 stayed in the Maids Quarters which was warm, cosy, comfortable and so clean - the bed linen was divine. The owners were highly service oriented, offering some great ideas on what to see and do, they served up a quality breakfast overlooking the beautiful gardens. We would stay here again!

Helpful staff team. Good simole continental Motel- stylr breakfast, with yogurt.

We had a lovely stay. Beautiful property and location. The studio room is big and has everything you need. The fireplace was the highlight. TV is small, though lots of channels and options to watch movies. Thank you to all of the staff for being so welcoming

Great location and views. Great breakfast. Only negative...long wait for hot water.

Kurrara is a beautiful 1902 house, furnished in the style of the period and settled in a well maintained mountains garden. The rooms are pleasant, the dining room charming and lounge, which is pictured, is a cosy place to read, chat or watch television. It is an easy walk to Echo Point, with its views of the Three Sisters and the valley, and the walks which start there and in the opposite direction to Katoomba village, with its range of places to browse and dine. Last of my likes, but by no...

We enjoyed the perfectly peaceful bush time, the bird song, tall gums and particularly the history and character of the cottage, so attractively and comfortably retained as it was in 1900.

Easy and quick check in.room tidy, clean comfortable. Comfy bed. Close to everything.

The Carrington retains a wonderful old world charm with its Grand Dining room and Art Decor theme. Norman Lindsay pictures are everywhere. It retains some delightful old style features like a rickety lift, yet we still enjoyed a spa in our room after a hard day bushwalking which was just perfect. Had a game of snooker on a full sized billiard table in a delightful lounge area. Didn't even have to brave the cold outdoors at night as we we were able to dine in the lovely old dining room with...

Great refurbishment and lovely restaurant attached.

Close to railway station. 15 min walk. Staff vert helpful and nice to talk to. Went out of their way to help us.

Kids loved it. Will be going back for sure

The Motel was in a great location, handy to walk to nearby activities, town shopping, and food places. Reception was extremely helpful, full of knowledge and approachable. Room was spacious allowing us to spread out and resort all our goods. We enjoyed coming back to a clean room even when tired out from all the adventuring. Plenty of eating places and lots of variety foods.

Quiet comfortable and good value for moneywith the added bonous of being close to lots thingsto do.

We stayed for two nights and we loved it. We had an amazing view of the Blue Mountains from our room. We loved the historic building and that the room had been modernised without taking away from the heritage of the hotel. Would definitely stay again!

Two adults 4 children for one night is a problem for pretty much every hotel and B&B in the Blue Mountains as I discovered. Not however for the Metropole. Kids loved the games room, rooms very clean and while it is more traditional than newly renovated, the pricing reflects that, and quite frankly, I would rather the money in my wallet than the tradesman who put in the new bathroom!

Very clean & warm. Bed was also very comfortable. Friendly staff & we liked the fresh milk touch for our tea on checkin! Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Considering the location & alternative accomodation nearby this is great value for money

If you are after a relaxed getaway this is the place to be. It's a beautiful estate surrounded by trees. We stayed at a loft room, it is modern, big and clean. Highly recommended for people who want to stay out of tourist area.

Awesome location. At first I thought it was a wee way out of town - but its a very short walk across the road to the Leura Village. The House itself is huge and we were on the third floor - with narrow stair access only. The stairs were worth the climb as we had great views from our balcony. The birdlife is amazing - and very noisey but we loved it. WiFi on the top floor is touch and go. They really need a WiFi extender to give slightly better coverage to the top floor, but I was on...

Unique, relaxing, and well thought out guest home. Very welcoming, clever attention to details that make your stay a pleasure.
