Very well done decor that showed off the very best of the building. Good value for money. Great staff, that were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Old motel that's had a paint job. Bathroom in the room I was in was not renovated. Bar not open outside restaurant hours so no drinks before 5 There were drunk people running around till 2am screaming sand laughing and no staff on site to deal with it. I called the after hours number at 1.30am to see if anything could be done and a week later no one has returned my call. makes me think what I i lost the room number to access your room and no staff on site - what would you do? I wouldn't stay here again.

Like other reviews, you want to love it but there would be a lot of work to do to get there... Get the aesthetic that they are going for and the internal common areas (lobby/restaurant) have nailed it. The external areas still seems to be under construction so can't really comment on that. Pros: comfortable bed and attentive staff. Cons: noise for slamming doors/firedoors at all hours of the day and night, thin walls can hear next doors conversations, bedside tables were so far away from the bed you would need to get out of the bed each time to get something off the table (they were quite heavy of concrete so wasn't able to move them), mould in the shower (for a newly renovated place its been there a lot longer - at the very least should have been cleaned), dead plant (would have been better to have just removed it that have that be the first thing that greets the guest upon entering the room). Was also expecting to have the option of room service (like at Bannisters / other motel conversions) but this wasn't an option. Understand the structure of the building can't be helped, but it's the execution / attention to detail of the other things that could be improved when they are charging the amount they do. Maybe the owners should have waited until more of the renovation was completed before opening.
