"Apartment is great. The biggest issue is this - map app shows hotel is 2 mins walk from Waverley station. It didn’t tell us that you would have to climb 4 levels of stairs to get from train station street level to North Bridge Rd. Not good for those with big luggage. Take a taxi. Apartment building said access to unit eighteen (and some others) is only available via stairs (one and half flights). You can actually take the elevator to level one and walk down half flight (easy for luggage). ...

"The apartment was beautiful and the location could not be beat. Steps from restaurants and parks and close to the action of Princes street. However a couple of things were less than ideal. First, the dryer was inoperable. Clothes would was and the heat of the dryer would come on, but the clothes wouldn’t dry. Second, the windows let in a significant amount of light at night, this combined with no fans, made sleep a bit challenging. Overall a really nice place but a couple of improvements...

"After a long day of traveling it was very nice to be able to get in so easily. Very clean and comfortable. Only thing I would suggest is to have a hair dryer available, unless I just couldn’t find it. "

Super comfortable, really well maintained and stocked with everything you could need, we had five adults in our group and had space to spare. "While traveling with our 15 year old son we stayed the weekend in this lovely cottage on the property of Victor an Carina just south of Edinburgh. The hosts are showed wonderful hospitality and the cottage is comfortably set up to sleep three (or four). Great attention to details of all we needed for a comfortable stay including notes for outings in the area and for getting to Edinburgh by bus or train. We definitely want to return to this beautiful cottage with wonderful hosts."
