"If you appreciate a rustic country feel and outdoor living, with the company of 2 very friendly donkeys who love snacks and pets, and an adorable little spunky dog, then this is the perfect spot for you. During the sunny mornings we had a great time in the hot tub and sauna followed by a cold plunge into the pool. A lovely, relaxed and casual atmosphere with a scenic trail for peaceful evening walks. Mary was a great host, very sweet and accommodating. We definitely hope to return again."

"The Casa is cute and cozy. The hostess left us a bottle of wine and a package of Pepperidge Farm lemon Ojai cookies.It rained a lot during our stay but there were bookcases with interesting reads. You could travel to several countries through the books while keeping warm and dry.I went through the Bayern (Bavarian) cookbook, all in German, and picked out several authentic recipes.Everything in Ojai is close and the Casa is a few minutes from Meiners Oaks with the pizza place we like. A few minutes more and you are in Ojai proper.It stopped raining the day we left and we were treated with a beautiful double rainbow as we stepped outside.We hope to come back to Ojai when the weather is better and will check to see if the Casa is available.
