"This is a family run ryokan business by the Kouda family. We booked a house / villa that is with attached bath and toilets. It is a very traditional house with renovated bath & toilet and owners are friendly and accommodating . Location is not very accessible if you don't drive but they fetched us from wachi station as the ryokan is located 30 mins from local train. Would strongly recommend if you want a local ryokan stay experience."
"This property was absolutely epic. Extremely fast communication, gorgeous house and delicious dinner coordinated during a time when most things are shut. Mari and her team were so great. We regretted we didn't have more than one night to enjoy this picturesque village and perfect house. It surpassed all expectations. "This is a great, very walkable neighborhood to stay in when travelling to Kyoto. Lots of great restaurants within a 10-15 min walk. The Nishiki market with lots of shopping is also close. The room was clean, roomy for what you can expect in Japan, and had incredible blackout blinds. We had our best sleeps in Japan in this hotel. "
"Our stay at Tokyu stay hotel was great! I really enjoyed staying there the service was excellent! We received the best customer service from M.Nayuk at the front desk. She helped with directions and gave tips on where to go. The best thing for me was the rooms were super spacious and even came with a washing machine and dryer! That was a super conscience for me as it allowed me to wash my clothes in the room with out having to go any where. The hotel was in a great location right near a subway station and a 7-11. "
