"The actual room is a beautiful and bespoke Japanese design. Lots of room for luggage storage and moving around in the galley style kitchen. It's on a very busy street so you can hear lots of night time traffic but the hotel provides plenty of earplugs. It's right across the street from Toji temple (where we were going) but is a bit of a walk (about 15 min) to Kyoto Station."

"This was a unique property to stay at for our Japan trip. The property was beautiful and was definitely an experience I recommend. Staff was so helpful when first arriving. They try their best to explain things, especially with a language barrier for myself. The hospitality was exceptional. Would recommend anyone to stay here. A little far of a walk from the main station with luggage so maybe a take a taxi. And have them take you to the check-in area instead of the property itself."

Very stylish and sleek interior and between 7-10 mins walk to Kyoto station (very handy for metro trains, shinkansen and buses to most must see places in Kyoto.. Would highly recommend! We wish that we could have stayed longer... and will definitely be rebooking for our next stay in Kyoto. "
