"Great 3-night stay at Kyoto. Check-in was very smooth and the property was very clean and I liked the traditional tadami style. Location was very close to subway/bus and was easy to get to the major locations. Definitely recommend for visiting Kyoto."

"A gem in Kyoto. A short walk from Kyoto station, Kyoto Tower, Higashi Hongan-ji Temple and Shōseien Garden, this place is like stepping back in time to the classical Japan architecture, interiors and culture that drew me to visit. The staff were simply amazing. I stayed in a premium room, which was spacious and had an ensuite 2 piece bathroom. A traditional Japanes breakfast was served in my room. It was delicious and a great way to start each day in Kyoto. If you want an immersive...

"Lovely and very clean hotel! The staff were extremely respectful and courteous throughout our stay. We appreciated the breakfast options — both the French set menu and the buffet were excellent. My family also loved the convenient location, close to Kyoto Station, shopping malls, and popular tourist attractions.
I asked the concierge to help me find a taxi at 5:30 a.m. to Ninenzaka, and they arranged it in less than 10 minutes. The staff even made sure it was the right taxi for me.
We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Kyoto and will happily recommend this hotel to our friends."
"We really enjoyed our one night at this hotel.
The room was perfectly large enough for the two of us in two separate queen beds, which were really comfortable. The bathroom was small but good.
Location is excellent, right next to the hotel.
Would definitely stay here if we came to Kyoto again."
"We loved our stay! Hotel was clean, and in a safe quiet area of town. The staff was accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious! So happy we chose to stay here for our trip to Kyoto."
"This property offered a great location near public transportation. The breakfast was excellent. However it is not one to enjoy a luxurious experience "
