"Nicely styled hotel and very convenient location. I stayed in a classic room which looked nice but had some impracticalities. The temperature can not be controlled from inside the room and was set too warm for me. The reception staff adjusted this for me, but it only seemed to stay at the requested temperature for a few hours before climbing up again. This meant I couldn’t sleep, so affected my stay. The only full-length mirror faces the bed and leaves about 10cm in which to stand so is completely pointless and inaccessible. The luggage stand was broken when I arrived, but replaced when I pointed it out. However most toiletries were near empty and had to be shaken out of the bottles. Not unpleasant but some easy fixes."

"The walk from the subway is about 3 blocks and a short subway to Heathrow. Lots of good shopping in downtown Hounslow (largely non-white). Hotel is clean. The room is profoundly small, like a college dorm for one person. Prices are reasonable. England is simply expensive, now invaded by foreigners and uncivilized and very, very inconvenient. Never going back."

"Cosy double in the basement was actually quite large and came with a dressing area and huge ensuite. Also plenty of natural light. Comfy bed. Robes provided for visits to the pool/spa. Fantastic location. Negatives were the appalling TV reception and constant whiffy drain smell in the bathroom."
