Nice, clean, and affordable hotel in Kandy. Centrally located which was great when we wanted to see the main sights. Great mountain views from your room. The road to get there is a little difficult but if you have your taxi call the hotel, they can easily direct them.

Great mountain view. There is no cafes or shops around. If no transport to town , can be a bit inconvenient

Great hotel . The property is on a montain. Great views . Good pool but was very cold . The hotel is far from.the city and it is quite annoying to get to and from the hotel . By Tuk Tuk or cab . Stayed there 8 nights and it was too much . Hotel is a great and staff helpful

No hot water. workers get off at 10pm and no service. basic amenities. out of the way, hard to get to.

Liitle bit difficult to access the property, but the view is so nice. Room is clean and comfortable bed. Staff service is so friendly and welcome.

Theft from room - DO NOT STAY HERE!
DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel is lovely and the staff friendly. However we had 40.000 rupees (c. £170) stollen out of the safe in our hotel room and the hotel have not tried to help - When we realised it had been stolen and told them at checkout, they said there was nothing they could do, that apparently the owners ‘were away in Colombo’ and my follow-up emails and whatsapp messages are just being ignored. I have reported the incident to the police and it still makes no difference to how the hotel have responded.

Hello Dear KNSUK, Thank you for staying at Mount blue. We are very sorry you lost your money.it should have been a horrible experience. But we would like to assure, that this HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HOTEL. you didn't inform about this at the hotel before leaving,and only your driver called the hotel and told about this a day after you check out. Our management fully investigated about this but couldn't find anything. And your driver said that YOU HAVENT USED THE SAFE LOCKER IN THE ROOM. only management has emergency access to safe lockers but as a policy our management or any staff never involve with a room safe without guest permission. Guest safety and privacy is one of the top priorities in our establishment so this type of instant can not take place. Again we are sorry that you lost your money somehow. Incorrect location
The location and walking times on hotel.com are incorrect. We were extremely disappointed when we realised the 9mins walk to the temple of the tooth was in fact 40mins. The location was the main reason we selected this hotel and so we have had to mark this hotel down. The restaurant served nice food but was quite expensive. The hotel was clean and comfortable so if you have your own transport it would be a great choice. Otherwise you are looking at a 500Rs tuk tuk ride into town. If you prepay for your accomodation make sure you keep evidence of your payment otherwise they may try and charge you again at check out. We had this issue which was quite stressful as the wifi wasn’t working and we didn’t want to miss our train.

Жили в отеле 4 ночи. В этом отеле самый ужасный сервис, который я когда-либо встречала: 1. Туалетной бумаги а номере всегда только 1 рулон. 2. Заказали на ресепшен завтрак с собой к 05:30, так как уезжали в Нувара Элия, и про него забыли! Мы пришли на ресепшен в 05:45, и его принесли только в 06:15. Мы опоздали из-за этого и встали в пробку! Полнейшая безответственность и не обязательность! 3. В номер ни разу не доложили шампунь, гель для душа и кондиционер для волос! Приходилось звонить и просить принести. 4. В ресторане на столах грязные подставки под тарелки с засохшей и прилипшей грязью. 5. В ресторане в меню был сок манго, но за 4 дня его ни разу не было в наличии! И не надо рассказывать про «не сезон», на улицах торговые прилавки завалены манго. 6. В женском туалете около бассейна в дозаторе для жидкого мыла было пусто! Не было мыла в туалете! 7. Завтрак начинается в отеле в 07:00. Мы пришли в 07:00, а там еще ничего нет, и никто даже не шевелится! Завтракать начали в 07:30 Из плюсов: только вид. Видно, что хозяин построил хороший отель, но он за ним не следит и нанял ужасный персонал. Отель был бы хороший и новый, если бы персонал его каждый день не убивал. Просто отвратительный персонал.

Absolutely lovely hotel
Amazing staff, location and view. Everyone who worked there were attentive and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The view is stunning and facilities and amenities lovely. Best stay I’ve had in Kandy.
