The property is always under repair or maintenance. The floors do smell like dirty mop and towels, bed sheets and pillowcases all had a red stain. I did show the staff and he said he will inform the manager. The property around the hotel is nice, the breakfast was decent. I probably will not stay here in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The welcome was amazing!!! The rooms were beautiful. The pool was amazing! It’s right on the beach! The food was exxxxxcellent!!! We will stay here again. One of our favorite hotels in all of Sri Lanka! Madhushan helped us with our bags and was very helpful! Krishmal cleaned our room and it was SPOTLESS!! So clean and beautiful! We really appreciated each of the staff who served us. We will be back! Excellent job!

Not worth for the price

I have very mixed feelings after staying here. I’ll start with the positive. Spa is stunning and the therapists were a 10 out of 10. Restaurant a la carte (not dinner buffet) was amazing, waitresses very attentive 10 out of 10. We tried to change usd into local currency, they were so annoying and were rejecting every single note(some of them were just out of the bank) just to avoid doing it. We wanted to experience the English high tea (both of us are vegetarian) we were asking at 3pm and they start at 3:30 so they couldn’t accommodate our request with more than 30 min in advance, and he didn’t even try to find a suitable solution. When we checked-inn I advice the receptionist that our check out was going to be at 6am but since I paid for our accommodation with breakfast included he said they will prepare boxes to take. There was a massive group and we could see at least 30 boxes for the group but they denied our breakfast. Ocean view room I booked ended up being partially view. Don’t over pay for this hotel, we spend the previous nights on cheapest 5 stars hotel with much better service, and better facilities. Rooms need a massive renovation.

Propreté et service inexistants. Le personnel passe son temps à vouloir vous soutirer de l’argent. Nous avons payé 2 fois les courses des chauffeurs proposés par l’hôtel Le prix du check out est à la tête du client sans aucune logique (même prix quelque soit le type de chambre) Prélèvement sur la carte sans prévenir la veille du départ Prix des petits déjeuner facturés le double du tarif normal Prix des soins spa affichés hors taxe sans prévenir Non respect des indications DND (ne pas déranger). Le personnel frappe et entre dans votre chambre. Chaussons usagés donnés dans les chambres. Plage payante pour les transats Un séjour épuisant tant il fallait esquiver les arnaques et rappeler les bons usages d’un service 5 étoiles !!!
