"This is a vintage inn. The photos with old Hollywood stars who stayed there are all over the walls. The fireplace in the middle of the lobby was magical, drawing in everyone after dinner to exchange stories of where we came from, our plans for the time in the area and our favorite spots to visit. "The tent was pretty clean, the things (light, heater) worked just fine. There were towels for showers, small cubbies next to the bed to keep your personal stuff. Overall it was pretty good. The restrooms were clean and there are like 8 shower stalls. Great experience. The staff was very helpful in accommodating the request for the tent being close to the restroom, because my mom and dad who are both >80 years were traveling with me. It was very convenient for them."

"Ian was a great host. Took his time explaining things about the home and the surrounding hikes along with local hot spots for food etc. The home is just gorgeous and so creatively thought out. The location is just spectacular, with the home built within the mountain and towering mountains to surround. Timed the fall weather perfect and hope to come back next year and explore some more of the amazing Eastern Sierras. Loved our stay."

"The view is absolutely stunning through the floor to ceiling windows. One of the highlights was laying out on the balcony at night time to see the stars. Never seen anything like it! The kitchen is mostly well stocked, although you will need to bring something to store leftovers (Tupperware type containers, or baggies, or foil). The loft is beautiful, like a master suite. It’s nice and convenient to have the main living orders all on the entry floor. We’ve traveled with individuals with mobility concerns, and this house would make that quite easy. Just one step to come down from where you park your car to get into the house and there are bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living area all on that same floor. The host is very responsive and addressed all of our concerns immediately. (we had trouble with the TV remote (resolved) and a ceiling fan remote). The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and amenities. The appliances are great. Tons of storage everywhere. We’ll be back!"
