"The staff were the most unhelpful life seen in my almost 40 years of travel Whenever there was an issue, they would smile sweetly, and basically tell you to go blank yourself, but in a very polite manner There were many issues and each time I was basically told we don’t care If I could give this a less than zero rating, I would This by far has been the worst hotel experience of my adult life As an example, they post that they have a gym. Nobody tells you that if you don’t have a Japanese SIM card you can’t access their Jim when I brought this to the attention of the staff. They offered two solutions one go buy a Chinese SIM card to find another gym both equally unhelpful and showed a complete lack of empathy or interest The whole state was like this From check-in to check out. For check-in, they would allow you to check in early for a fee, even though they stated the room is ready Then once you agreed to the fee, they said oh at this time we have to have that by another $20-$80 Australian I caution travellers to never use this hotel"

"Wonderful breakfast. Room is ver clean, bathroom is full of supplies more thn you ever need. Ref has beer n juice free of charge. Staff are all oustanding, everyone is greeting and smiling at us. So full of respect!!!"

"We had a room with a private bath on the balcony. Our room was very clean and well appointed. My husband and I had separate single beds - not sure if I made a mistake with the booking or if that was standard. The location of the hotel is stunning. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. There was a shuttle bus from the local train station which we didn’t know until a couple of days before our trip. The included teppinyaki dinner was one of our favourite dinners in our whole time in Japan. No tattoos allowed in the public baths, but the private bath was perfect for me. "

"Husband and I stayed here for 2 nights before boarding a cruise ship, worked great for us. Comfortable clean room, great location. My Starbucks was minutes away, lots of food choices within 10 minutes walking. Only issue is I had troubles with WiFi but I’m sure it was operator error! Staff graciously let us check in a bit early and was able to pay $4500 yen to stay 3 hours past check out so we could go straight to cruise ship, worked great! I would stay again for sure!"
