Apartments in Horsfield Bay

"First, would stay again. Inexpensive, friendly staff and good music all night long. Second, would check in (as description states) before 10 pm, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. We learned the hard way. Staff was helpful and accommodating to a 10:30pm check in on a busy Saturday night. Parking was non existent in their lot (less than 20 spots). We parked out front on the main street. Once checked in, we saw the room (great & comfy) and the renovated bathrooms (WOW!). Towels and soaps provided. Now, the noise. For my group, we have no complaints. Our room could barely hear the club going on at the ground floor but could hear the exhaust of the cars zooming by and loud disagreements out front at about 12 am. The club itself went on until 3 am, they had a good DJ and we were able to sleep. As for the loud people, it was just another Saturday night where drinks went wrong and they were sent out of the club."

"We only stayed 2 nights to catch up with family, the cabin was clean but the mattresses were terrible, the TVs out dated as was the furniture."

"So the positives - the hotel itself was in a good location for what we needed, lovely friendly staff and the room was in excellent condition. The not so positive - the hotel uses the club facilities which was handy with restaurants etc close by and the pool if you wanted to but not quite the same as it being part of the hotel (and not a public pool etc). The real negative - we had interconnecting rooms on the first floor right above the reception area (with no wall for soundproofing in the corridor). It was NOISY and he first night someone played the piano in the lobby at midnight and the next night a huge group also staying in the hotel were loudly talking in the area until late (maybe about 10 or so). If you were adults and not planning an early night it might be ok but we had 2 kids and both nights they were woken or couldn’t get to sleep because of the noise. I would be hesitant to ever stay again even though it’s very handy to family we have in the area. Such a shame."
