"Beautiful secluded property with true luxury onsen experience. Staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful. They accommodated our large family of 11, including a few different food allergies very well. The teenagers loved the private and public hot baths. "We really enjoyed our stay in Matsuzakaya Honten! The staff were very hospitable, accommodating and helpful, and the ryokan was very clean and modern, while still retaining its historical charm. We marveled at how it was like staying in a museum, a slice of history, just because of how beautifully preserved everything was. Special shoutout to Ridhan, Hema and the front desk staff (a friendly thai lady with front bangs - apologies, we didn’t manage to get your name!) who were excellent and kind to us throughout our stay."
