"Hotels in Shenzhen are not really rated at the same level, in terms of stars, as those in many other metropolitan areas. 5-star ratings here seem to be more like 4-star elsewhere. This Ritz had great service but the room itself is not that well maintained. My biggest gripe is the ventilation in my room (which was upgraded for free to the executive level) was poor. "Very nice hotel as a 5 star rating hotel. Their room lighting controls have many options to choose from: relax mode to working mode. It is very convenient to travel to the airport especially if you need to wake up early to catch a flight. One of the thing on safety is commendable, there is a calling for help button next to the toilet seat. I think not too many hotels even 5 stars will have that one button. Staffs are couteous. Breakfast buffet have many choices, very inter-continental."

The hotel is in the center of the city and easy to get to pretty much everywhere. The room is extremely clean and comfy, I’d highly recommend this place if you ever plan to visit Shenzhen. "
