The room was decent, and the massage service was reasonably priced and friendly. They didn’t charge much for the actual package and only asked for a RMB 40 tip per hour, which still made the overall cost very reasonable. The location is excellent, as it’s right next to Shenzhen Railway Station and the Luohu Commercial Center.

Staff were courteous. Room was clean but dark. I was initially placed in a room at the far corner with no view....ie made the room even darker. I went back to reception to ask them to move me and there were no issues. They moved me without question to face the mountains and the train station ...so it felt brighter and more lively. I appreciated that they didnt give me any hard time with this request. It made me more comfortable being a lone traveller. Ample amenities. This hotel is convenient. Lots of food and close to hong kong border. Lobby is bright and nicely decorated but hallways and the rooms are old and dated.

Good solid choice walking distance to HK border w/HK MTR and one of several HSR stations in Shenzhen. Both the brand and the property a bit tired after so many decades. 30 years ago it felt special to walk into a Shang. Now not so much but still fine. There is a 7-11 and ~5 low cost pretty good restaurants 100 feet away.

We spent a wonderful family weekend here, renting two rooms. Location is incredibly convenient! Rooms and lobby are spacious and comfortable. The hotel restaurants served delicious food, especially the authentic Cantonese dim sum - a highlight!

Locked in during the Typhoon. Hotel is older but well maintained. Had water come into the room from the storm but minor. Overall a classy place. Junior staff could do with some training as they are too often looking at their phone screens rather than attending to customers. Again overall a very nice place to stay. Oh and location is PERFECT.
