We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit with our 3 kids - aged 5, 3 and a baby. Unit was recently refurbished, kitchen well appointed and great location across the Rd from beach, playground and cafe. The pool and trampoline at the hotel were a bonus. Would definitely recommend for families with kids.

Did not like the spa /shower combo.
I have mobility problems and trying to get into the shower was a problem. The picture shown in sample room on the internet was not the same.

Everything about this place was great. Smooth check-in and check-out process. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Walking distance to shopping centre (across the road), with dining options and the likes of Coles, bowling, Chinese & Thai cuisine, KFC. Few minutes drive to activities such as sand boarding, camel rides, go karting, aircraft museum and more. The main feature is by far the wrap around pool although the water temp is cool during winter. The spa and sauna made up for it though....

Port Stephens is one our favourite places, we've stayed at many places in the area over many years, from our recent stay, the Anchorage is by far the best. We stayed in room 102, it was lovely, modern, a beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed, but we discovered a slight problem. At breakfast, the Manager, Ali was discreetly going around greeting and making everyone feel welcome. When we mentioned our problem to Ali his response was immediate and satisfying. It is obvious from his leadership and...

This resort had everything we needed for a family weekend getaway. The pool and huge spa were a hit with the kids as were the Octopus slide and jumping castle. What more do you need with kids for a weekend? The staff were very friendly and accommodating and although we didn't take advantage of the restaurant and bar it was great to have it there in case. Happy hour was popular! As we had no one booked in after us we were able to have a late check out and didn't leave until 6pm - this really made...

The room 303 is spacious, has a beautiful view, with a great balcony. The room was clean and welcoming with a lot of daylight. The spa was a bonus, that we were not aware when we booked the room.
The staff was very friendly, and allowed us earlier check-in. They helped us (sent an IT specialist to our room) when we struggled to connect to free Wi Fi.
Our stay was very pleasant and also a great value for money!
We are looking forward to coming again, very soon!

This motel is a hidden gem. It's beautifully maintained with really lovely managers. My room was very clean and very comfortable. I had all I needed and more. I travel a lot for work and can absolutely recommend this motel as a great place to stay.

We arrived a bit late and weren't quite sure how to check in as the office was unattended, however a quick phone call to Ian sorted us out.
Ian and Jane are incredbly hospitable and genuinely seem to love their jobs.
Upon walking up the stairs to our treehouse accomodation we were welcomed by a mother possum with a baby on it's back!! This quickly turned to four more possums, a lovely experience (they're so soft!).
