Lovely comfortable and clean room. Only stayed one night. Conveniently located for Heathrow Airport and bus to underground to the city centre. Basic facilities -tea, coffee and hair dryer. Great shower. The staff were really polite and helpful. Definitely recommended and would choose to stay here again. Very reasonable for London.

Great location just 2 bus stops from T5 with the bus stop next to the hotel (bus number 423). Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are ideal for an airport "layover" and are clean and comfortable. The hotel has a good bar, great breakfast and evening meals with viewing directly onto the airport runway with great closeup views of aircraft arrivals and departures. If there was one downside it would be the poor shower water pressure which was manageable but is low. I always stay at the Thistle...

We loved our stay at The Belgrave. The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed. It was walking distance to Victoria train station and many attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben etc. We would definitely stay there again

Which area of East Molesey is best to stay in for cheap hotels?
Finding cheap hotels directly within East Molesey can be a bit challenging as it's primarily a residential area, but nearby towns and districts offer more budget-friendly accommodation options, often with good transport links.
For solo travellers looking for affordability, consider staying in areas slightly further afield but with easy access to East Molesey, such as Kingston upon Thames or Hampton Court. Kingston, in particular, offers a wider range of hotels, guesthouses, and even some budget chain options, and it's well-connected by bus to East Molesey. You can find places within walking distance of Kingston's train station, providing quick access to central London if you plan day trips.
Families might find better value and more space in guesthouses or smaller hotels in Hampton Court, just across the river from East Molesey. While not always the cheapest, these often provide a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere and are superb for exploring the historic Hampton Court Palace and its extensive grounds without needing to pay for local transport.
When is the most affordable time to visit East Molesey?
The most affordable time to visit East Molesey is typically during the off-peak seasons, specifically from late autumn to early spring (November to March), excluding the Christmas and New Year periods. During these months, demand for accommodation and local attractions usually decreases, leading to lower prices.
For solo travellers, visiting in the quietest months, like January or February, can yield the best deals on guesthouses and B&Bs. You'll find fewer crowds at popular spots like Hampton Court Palace, allowing for a more relaxed and reflective experience, and public transport around the area, such as local buses and trains to London, remains consistently priced throughout the year.
While the weather might be cooler, East Molesey still offers charm with its riverside walks and local shops, which are enjoyable even in winter.
What free activities should we do in East Molesey?

Solo travellers can enjoy a peaceful stroll along the River Thames towpath, revelling in the picturesque views of Hampton Court Palace from across the water. This offers a different perspective of the famous landmark without the entry fee. The area around Bridge Road, known for its independent shops and cafes, is also charming for a window shopping excursion or simply soaking in the local ambiance.
Couples might particularly enjoy a romantic walk through the historic streets of East Molesey, admiring the charming architecture and well-kept gardens. You can also pack a picnic and find a lovely spot in one of the local green spaces, such as Hurst Park, which provides open grass areas right by the river, ideal for relaxing and watching the boats go by.
