"This is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway!"

"Check in was very easy. The cabin is beautiful and quite. We planned this trip for our grandaughter who recently graduated high-school. She enjoyed it very much ! Warm Springs Pools are just 8 minutes away. My Wife and granddaughter did the 50 min soak and both felt incredibly refreshed afterwards. There are nice restaurants near by and we drove up to the waterfall on 220 about 35 minutes away. There is lots of hiking but we don't hike. We just sat on the porch and the back deck and enjoyed the sound of nature. We also enjoyed the hummingbirds drinking from the feeder on the front porch. We would love to make a return trip in the fall to see the foliage! "

"We enjoyed our time at the Bears Den. We were looking to escape and relax and that was easily done here. A few notes: we were short on the number of bath towels initially but found the extra bath towels in the dryer. Unfortunately they had sat wet in the dryer and were musty-requiring washing before being used.The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items for the most part but there were no pot holders which would have come in handy with the countertop oven—there was only one dish towel. The trash bins were extremely full when we arrived making it difficult to add our bag in when needed. Finally, the selection of sheets for sofa bed was limited to two flat sheets and no full sheet. There was an abundance of extra pillows but only one extra pillow case. "

"It took us 11yrs to return, but we're so thankful we need. Exactly the recharge we needed. Quiet, peaceful & this cabin has everything you need. We bought our groceries on the way there & never left the cabin while we were there. Sleeping with the windows open at night is the best sleep you can get. The creek, the meadow with deer visiting every night & yes, we even got to see a bear this time. I wish this was closer to us because it wouldn't take us 11yrs to return if that was possible. :-)"
