Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing on the sandy beach by Shavers Lake, etc.

PETS: We absolutely adore our furry friends and wish you could bring them with you. Unfortunately, Mountain Lodge does not allow guests to bring pets of any type. As such, we have to insist you find alternative accommodations for your pets. However, if you have a certified Service Animal, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you. Service animals must be registered when you check-in at the front desk.
EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee check-in prior to 5:00 PM. Mountain Lodge may be able to accommodate your request for an earlier check-in as long as the room is clean and set up.
LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible. If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if this or any of our other properties is available.
PARKING: Your reservation includes parking for up to as many vehicles as there are bedrooms in the condo you’ve booked. Any additional vehicles will be allowed to unload passengers and luggage at the Mountain Lodge main entrance, but will then need to find parking outside of the Mountain Lodge parking lot. We welcome you to park for free at the Top of the World (left out of Mountain Lodge parking lot; one mile up the road). From there, you can take the shuttle to the Village, and walk to Mountain Lodge. It is imperative that you move your vehicle(s) out of the Mountain Lodge parking lot immediately following check-out, as the lot is not large enough to accommodate vehicles of incoming Guests in addition to those of departing Guests.

Our stay was brief, but we enjoyed ourselves- it was great location, the view was wonderful. Other than the frozen ice on the balcony - suggestion- ice/snow shovel & found no broom.
Tim and Mari were super easy to communicate with. The condo was great! Perfect for my husband and I, it was an easy ski in/out. You could pick up your lift tickets next door at Allegheny springs and the village a short walk away. Will stay again.
This condo is tight for four adults, but adequate. Everything you need is provided, and it was very clean. The building has many units and check in was lengthy due to the line. There was some noise from the arcade and playground in the lobby that you could hear in the room since the hallways run on the interior of the building. It’s really not much more than a hotel room with a separate bedroom and a kitchenette, but if you’re looking for a place that is near the slopes and reasonably priced, this is a good way to go. It’s a convenient walk to the village and nearby restaurants as well as a grocery store, but I would advise to buy your groceries before getting up on the mountain as the prices are cheaper off the mountain. There had been so much snow before we arrived that we could not open the balcony or see through that window due to the snow drift. It was a great little spot, but next time I definitely go a little bit bigger to be more comfortable!
Overall it was a great experience. Roomy, convenience to get to anywhere. Good communication with the property manager. However, a few small things should be addressed in term of cleanliness. Bath curtain had a faint smell of mildew and some small pieces of food stuck to "cleaned" silverwares and cookwares.
Everything was great from the parking to the check in/ out! All the staff was nice and friendly. The room was nice and clean and the view overlooks Shaver's Lake!
Parking and check in was a breeze. This was a 1 bedroom and had everything we needed for both of us. The building is in the process of remodeling and getting new balconies, our side didn't have them installed yet, but they did look nice and our room had a great view of the mountains. We had an issue with the pull out sofa bed, called Tim, he said he would have maintenance look at and he would call me back with a time they would be there and they responded instantly, repaired the broken part, the maintenance guy was very personable and asked if there was anything else he could do and to not hesitate, it could not have gone any better than that. The whole process went very well from notification, Tim answered the call, no voicemail, maintenance responded quickly, problem resolved and Tim followed up to ensure we were satisfied!
We have stayed at that lodge before, but this was the first time in this room, and we would stay there again. We stayed in July, so it should be noted that there is one portable air-conditioner that is in the kitchen/living area and the bedroom is down the hallway. There were also box fans to help circulate the air, but found the bedroom to be too warm even with the fans trying to move the cool air down the hallway, that's why we chose to use the pull out bed. By no means was that a deal breaker, just something to consider and all of the other rooms are set up this way. Again, we were very happy with the experience.
Property was clean and exactly as shown. Had an awesome view of the rolling mountains once the fog cleared. Property owner/manager was fantastic. Went above and beyond expectations. Was extremely quick to respond.
Overall great stay! Property was clean and ski in/ski out. Property manager very helpful. Downfalls are parking not guaranteed at lodge if you check in much after 5, unit was hot even with fans running constantly, and if you are planning to make a large meal, bring your own utensils/pots and pans as there were not a lot to choose from. Overall great stay and would stay again.
We had a blast! The room was beautiful with gorgeous sunrise views of the mountains. Super clean, comfortable and overall highly recommend for families.
We really enjoyed our stay. The location of Mountain Lodge is fantastic, and the condo was clean and as expected. We did have a few Covid-related issues, particularly with checkin.
Tim, the host, is incredibly responsive and helpful.
Mt Lodge has its own staff who handle checkin and all onsite stuff. Due to Covid, they were short cleaning staff so a 5pm checkin became a 7pm checkin. I wish they had been able to tell me that it would take two hours instead of asking me to check back every 10-15 minutes. We had two kids with us, 3 and 6, who were quite restless for the two hours we had to wait, with no way of going elsewhere because we had already unloaded our stuff onto a luggage trolley per being told "our condo would be ready soon". We have stayed in other buildings during Covid and have not seen this issue elsewhere. Also due to Covid they are only giving one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels, and not making the beds.
The only additional thing I would say about the condo is that there is a coffee maker but no accoutrements to actually make coffee (there's no coffee, filters, or sugar).
Anyone who leaves a bad review for this property needs a reality check. "They don't even make the bed." A) That's a COVID response measure so that you know the sheets are clean. B) I've been making my own bed for 30 years. I think I can handle it without my inner Karen pitching a fit. The place was clean. It was well maintained. It was exactly what was advertised and exactly what we needed. You want a five-star hotel? Go pay for a five-star hotel. You want a nice, affordable room, fit for a competent, reasonable adult (with room for friends/family)? Then stay here. I'll be back next year.

In my opinion, this was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at and there is misinformation on the Travelocity site about the room. When asked about the misinformation The owner/manager told me he didn’t even know it was marketed on a Travelocity. 1. They do not have 24 COVID safety windows between stays. 2. Although parking says free and checkout says 11:00am, I was told upon arrival you must check out BEFORE 11 so that your car is removed before 11 or tisk getting towed. The ski resort employees said this building has a bad reputation and doesn’t reflect snowshoe standards. I will NEVER stay here again and I have no idea why anyone would rate this place above one star. The building is VERY outdated. Also, the room is NOT ski in and ski out... it’s on the 3rd floor. The bottom floor has outlet to ski area, but it is misguiding to say the room is ski in and ski out.
Some of the rooms are on the ground floor and have ski in and ski out access, but not this room/condo.
No shampoo or conditioner or body wash in the room. Arrive without the beds made.
In my opinion, there are plenty of other much nicer places to stay and this place should be avoided.
Mountain Lodge is beside the Ball Hooter lift. Walk out of the Hotel and you are on the slopes. I took my child to ski school which is a couple minute walk from Mountain Lodge. You will be right at the village. The room was clean and as advertised. I would recommend this accomodation.
