If you enjoy walking and delicious food the Slaughters Inn is for you. Less than 2 hours on the train from London the Inn organised a taxi to whisk us away to Lower Slaughter. We were greated by cheerful staff and shown to an elegant room with all the comforts. The Inn boasts a very pretty and spacious garden perfect for outdoor dining. The property was well positioned. The Cotswolds are BUSY, so it was great to have somewhere to stay out of the busyness. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was a great size (room 2). No aircon which was an issue in the latest heatwave. The staff did try to help by putting a fan in the room. We used the restaurant for dinner and there was a wide selection of choices. This can also be said about breakfast.

Our stay was amazing and we stayed an extra night. Staff were so helpful and friendly, bar/rest spaces were incredible with open fire to warm the room. Fantastic bar snacks as we weren't overly hungry on arrival. Great free breakfast and the best coffee we'd had since being abroad. Room was super comfortable and beautifully finished and clean. Plenty of pillows and comfy bed. We just love this place. BTW - the play list of an evening was elite.
