"The staff were very personable and the Spanish-born concierge made a number of good suggestions. The hotel is more of a boutique decorated in a French Regency style. Even though the hotel is not small, it has an intimate feel. My only beef was that the room was not available until after 4 pm, and many of us were waiting. All of those rooms were not cleaned at the last minute and we were bone-dead tired so I was irritated that it was SO LONG before our room was assigned. They could have done better here. Not sure who decided (housekeeping supervisor?) that but it did limit how much tip I left in our room. The receptionist did get us in first as Angela? knew we had been quietly waiting for many, many hours. Otherwise, HIGHLY recommend."
