Honey-colored cottages line the streets of this quintessential Cotswold village where 'The War Horse' and 'Downton Abbey' were filmed. Wander the medieval market square, then enjoy afternoon tea at the Old Rectory Tea Room or follow footpaths through the surrounding woodland.
It was a really nice pub. Everyone was really friendly and the place was really nice and clean and comfortable.
They did a great breakfast as well.
I highly recommend staying here.

This hotel was highly rated as the best in UK… unfortunately it did not live up to this expectation.
The facilities are run down; it has a nice pool that was probably amazing in its day. The breakfast was good; better than the Michelin star dinner!
Our experience may have been tainted because we had just stayed at Heckfield place which was so much better!
The grounds and the main house is quite beautiful. We would have loved to do some horse riding but the weather wasn’t permitting.

One of my favourite stop overs during our trip! Our accommodation was perfect, every detail of our room was well above standards. All staff were super helpful and made us feel very welcome. Great location and parking available for a small fee.

This was a great place to stay. The room was very clean and had a great bathroom.
It was a simple walk into the city which had ample places to visit, eat and shop.
