The homestead is full of warmth and character, with the open kitchen/dining/lounge area, fire place and the wrap around verandah being the focal points for us. We also rented the separate cottage, also with a great view of the farm and the lake. Our dogs were kept comfortable with wide open space and fenced enclosure when needed. "Nice property but master bed was terrible. Impossible for 2 people to sleep in as it dips to the middle. Very hot bedrooms and lack of ceiling fans in the living area made it very uncomfortable."
