no toaster. no microwave. no plates. pool was damaged by storm. wish that was noted on the website as our rugby boys needed to cool down their mussels after the weekend comp.

Hi Linda, Thank you for leaving us some feedback on your recent stay. We appreciate your frustrations with the pool being closed for safety after terrible damage from a recent wild hail storm. Unfortunately our motel rooms are not suited for and do not contain cooking facilities, microwaves etc but we do have cabins with these facilities for your future visits to town, just call us at the Hotel and we can certainly do our best to get you into a room that accommodates your requirements. The property was clean and tidy, however a little over priced for what you got. Based on other towns nearby and other motels our group stayed in.

Loved our stay. Just some small issues.... a full length mirror in the bedroom/s behind the door would be great and also a television in the main bedroom. The "lounge chair" has seen better days also. Maybe time for an upgrade. The meals in the restaurant were fantastic and the wait staff were all friendly.

Beaut at Bilo
Our room at Settlers was very nice indeed. Room is decorated beautifully, queen bed very comfortable, desk and two tub chairs, nice lounge; all in all a cut above most of the motels/hotels we've stayed at out west. Dined at their restaurant and steaks were excellent. Good service too.

I had booked on line and did not realise that I was in one of the older cabins and I had my 3 grandchildren with me so the lovely lady working the reception upgraded us to a beautiful 2 bedroom cabin.

Cabin was very clean and well presented. Grateful for the heater on such a cold night. Shower door stuck and unable to slide. Called reception to help. Said they would send help. Never came.

Booked a cabin on line no problems. Upon arriving the room was very nice but found the bedside light was broken. Reported it to reception they did take note of this but did not make an effect to replace it for us.

A great place to stay at.
I arrived early afternoon and was virtually at my room 5mins later. The room was clean and tidy, bed was just right for me and the shower was great. Free easy use WiFi was solid performing. I had booked the room online and included a table reservation for 5 and it was all taken care of. Dinner was really excellent, loved their buffet arrangement, reminded me of Sizzlers. My daughters,who I was visiting from town, was surprised how nice everything was and enjoyed their meals. Checkout was easy and painless. Only thing I could list as a con was there was building works going on which had me concerned about noise, but nope I heard nothing. I will definitely stay here again. It is a very friendly place.

Everything on site or close by.
The cabin we booked was clean & the beds were extremely comfortable. We went to the restaurant on site for dinner. The Heritage centre & the bakery are a short walk away. The Callide Power Station, Mine & Dam are a 10 minute drive away. My father left his camera in the cabin & the staff were extremely helpful in locating & returning it. We would definitely stay again.
