Staff was friendly and very accomadating. Beautiful lobby, good breakfast. Rooms can use a little updating. Other than that, good experience.
As we expected, the room was small - and below ground level but had a window. It was, however, very well equipped and, particularly important at the moment, was spotlessly clean. It smelt fresh too.

The staff Alan was helpful in taking the luggage as there was no lift. He also very promptly sorted TV arial which had been broken. The room was descent size and comfortable ehough. Some elements did not appear very clean i.e. there were little insects flying around the kitchenette area no cloths ...

I loved the Hyde Park location: The area is clean and walkable to lovely gardens, shops and pubs ; also near the train station. The hotel is clean and has lovely eating areas. I would go back again and again!
