"Overall I enjoyed my stay but I would probably choose a different hotel for my next visit. The pros: the hotel is reasonably priced and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room I had was large for a European hotel with high ceilings and windows that open. Cons: The hotel is in need of a refresh, especially in the common areas. Carpets are worn and dusty. The breakfast is expensive given the 'just OK' quality of the food. If you're in Lisbon to visit the old city and surrounding areas, be aware that it's a good 30-35 minute walk from the hotel. Note: I was unhappy with the first room I was given and they were able to move me to a better room which I was very happy with. I would recommend asking for a high floor as rooms on the 1st floor (first above the lobby) are small and look out on the HVAC units. My room on the 3rd floor had a large bathroom and a comfortable bed. I also appreciated that it had adequate lighting for reading in the evening."

"The property was beautiful and the on site restaurants were some of the best we visited in Lisbon. The Spa was even more beautiful than expected and we are already looking forward to returning."

"Outdated room and hallways, it resembles a cruise line room and not a four star hotel. The reception staff was not welcoming. No greeting, Manuela just asked for our passports and city fees. The bed was comfortable but the room had a strong odor of carpet cleaner. Only two electrical outlets available and the list can go on. After the initial review for check-in by Expedia, we were offered an upgrade at 6:18pm the following day. When I asked why, Alex said in a harsh and loud tone in the lobby “didn’t you complain? That’s why.” Totally out of line and inappropriate behavior by the hotel staff. When leaving the last day as we were returning our key a young woman ask “was everything okay?” Obviously, they had no interest in the feedback given. The employees need to be trained in quality customer service if they want to keep customers coming back. Personally and based on my experience, we won’t be returning. "

"Good value for money, clean and large rooms. Just our room air conditioner wasn’t working and staff were quite unhelpful to get it fixed or change rooms for us."

"Very nice hotel with everything you would want for your stay. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Lunch from the bar menu was delicious also. Great location. Train station is a 15 minute walk. Uber is abundant and reasonably priced also. Will stay again. "
