I enoyed my stay a lot. Theres a greater brunch place right under the hostel and a pub called golden drakk with amazing food only 5 minute walk away.

Our room was neat and clean, but with no air conditioning. We had a very small balcony and kept the door slightly to keep some air flow in the room. The shared bathrooms were kept very clean and the hot water was great! All of the staff that we dealt with were very helpful toward us. You can buy sofa drinks and water from a large fridge in the office (very convenient). There is a supermarket about 20 metres away, and the BEST cafe next door! There is also a laundromat very close by!

Great place to stay. Easy to find a place to eat. The only downfall is that there is 2 bathrooms outside for everyone in the floor. So if you don't like sharing, this is not for you

What a find. The staff were super helpful the property was centrally located. It even had a grocery store next door. The room was well appointed amazingly it had a desk and a television. You cannot go wrong staying at this hostel.

We were located near a coffee shop, which was very good to have a bite because we arrived before the hospital opened. It needs some work and cleaning up. There was a kitchen and we used it to prepare some meals. It’s a hostel so you can’t expect too much though you need to get into the showers early to have a hot shower

The property is in a good area of town, but the room we had in the attic lacked curtains in the attic/roof window, they charged us 25 euros for a skimpy mattress, the sofa was dirty, the bathroom window has a plexiglass plate piece that serves as a cheap window, etc.

Good location, fairly clean

Cons- lift not working which made it really hard to carry suitcases. One of the staff kept switching off the lights while guests were in the toilet. Yes it was during the day but the bathrooms are very dark even during the day. Pros- room and bathroom cleaner than what I expected taking in consideration it was shared bathroom. Staff and cleaned the bathroom everyday and most guests made an effort to keep it clean after using it. Very close to pingo doce where you can have a decent lunch or dinner under 10 euros. Walking distance to Picoas and Saldanha station. For those who enjoy walking, it’s a great location fairly close to main attraction such as cais do Sodré and time out market. If needed I would use it again

The best thing about this hostel was its location - being in such close proximity to a metro station (Picoas) and two supermarkets (Pingo Doce and Aldi) was very helpful. Having the metro station near the hostel made it easy to renew our Viva Viagem cards and the bus stop (also close to the hostel) made travelling around Lisbon simple and convenient. The main downsides to this hostel were the bugs; half of my family were bitten many times by bugs whilst sleeping. I found a small cockroach in the toilet which leads me to suspect it could be cockroaches but I'm not entirely sure. Another inconvenience I faced was that I was told upon arrival that I would have to pay city tax, having to pay €2 for each person staying in our room per night. I assumed that the city tax was already included in my payment for the hostel, so this took me by surprise.

Vale a pena!

No inicio ficamos uns 5 minutos tentando contato pelo interfone e ninguém nos atendeu. Porem depois um hospede estava saindo e abriu a porta do predio e foi tranquilo. Encontramos um recepcionista que falava espanhol e realmente como nos comentarios anteriores, nao tem funcionario falando português porem a comunicação é tranquila e facil. Achei a localização muito boa e perto de 3 estações de meteo nas linhas azul, amarela e laranja e assim ficou facil de se locomover pela cidade. Hostel tem 2 supermercados perto, sendo um ao lado, o que facilitou muito no café da manhá barato pois havia uma grande variedade de padaria no Pingo Doce que havia ao lado. Enfim, gostei bastante pela area e pelo valor em uma epoca que fui e estava dificil achar algo que coubesse no bolso. Vale a pena!!

Preis / Leistung nicht so toll im Dreibettzimmer

Lage des Hostel ist super zwischen blauer und gelber Linie. Wir hatten das Dreibettzimmer unter dem Dach. An sich recht kultig, aber 2 Macken gab es dann doch, die aus der Beschreibung nicht ersichtlich waren. Es gibt nur 2 Lichtziegel an der Decke d.h. wenig Tageslicht und das abgebildete Fenster geht aufs Dach direkt auf den Motor des Aufzugs. Das lässt man also besser zu. Das Zimmer und Bad waren sauber aber es roch unangenehm aus dem Abfluss.

Over all nice place. The two areas which could improve are: sheets should be supplied, just using bed cover is not sanitary, and there was no confirmation or communication to make finding the place and checking in easier. If I didn’t have a rental router, and gps, I would never have found it.
