"This is a nice place to stay for basic comforts. A little outside of the main bustling area but also nice to get away from it all. Very easy to navigate to the sight seeing spots. The onsen style space was lovely to have as an experience. They are strict about visible tattoos but if you have small ones they will let you cover them up so that you can enjoy! "

"I wish I did not have to write this review as I would like to keep this place hidden. We had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very helpful. The rooms nice. The breakfast buffet amazing. The dinner not-so-great, but really who goes to a hotel for dinner? The happy hour was great when combined with all the soft seating and socializing. The architecture was super-cool with the hotel open to the elements, but designed so that you never got wet. I'd certainly stay here again!"

"Accessible from Kyoto Station, with about 8mins walk. Opposite the hotel is a teppan izakaya style restaurant, which the hotel is able to make the reservation for us in advance. The restaurant is excellent! Room is clean and spacious, ideal for young families. The staffs were all friendly. On check out day, I forgot that I left my passport in the hotel room safe, they were able to retrieve it and safekeep it till I am there to get it back. "
