We were so happy with this home, we felt so at peace in the private setting set away from the main road, but still a 2 minute walk to Anini Beach. We did wake up to the noise of roosters every morning which we later discovered run wild throughout Kauai - this still did not take away from our lovely experience at the rental. The house had what we needed to prepare meals at home plus towels and gear for the beach if needed. The location is a short 15 minute drive to Hanalei to the west where we did most of our excursions. We would stay here again!

We were out snorkeling every day and saw almost a dozen sea turtles! The beach and road both get busy on nice days, and especially on weekends, but this is due to
how fantastic the beach is. We were very close to the town of Kīlauea, which has a nice grocery and several good places to eat. The drive to Hanalei was further, and complicated by the road closure schedule, but we planned accordingly and still made a few trips into town, including one en route to the Nepali coast trail (book parking ahead of time!). We’d stay here again!

I can't say enough about this home, the owners, the view, Kauai ... in the travels I've done, if I had to choose one place to return, this would be it. Warm, beautiful, comforting, beauty that is beyond belief, and the perfect place for our family reunion at the perfect time. The owner is amazing and everything was so easy. Beautiful house and gardens. Nice pool, great kitchen, amazing views all around. The balcony was great for drinking coffee and having wine. Wonderful location, near everything you needed. The beach nearby and the river for paddle boarding were perfect. Only downside was the downstairs bedroom not having AC. The young adults got pretty hot even with the windows open. Master bedroom was wonderful and cool, and loved the huge shower.
