A little far of a walk from the main station with luggage so maybe a take a taxi. And have them take you to the check-in area instead of the property itself."

"Lovely place to stay, a little out of the way of central Kyoto but still would recommend a stay. Washing machine in the room was super helpful, there's even a machine to get washing liquid capsules in the lobby. Walking distance to a launderette if needed for drying clothes. We got the address wrong on our luggage we had forwarded and the Rest Inn was able to call up and get it sorted for us. It was delivered within a few hours."
