Large and very clean rooms. Plenty of fun activities within the property and good central location to tourist hot spots as long as you have a car. Quiet location with plenty of wildlife. Shading over main bedroom and living area would help reduce morning heat entering the rooms as no air con in bedroom. Staff were lovely

Lovely setting. The sulphur crested cockatoos outside our room feasting on fruit tree were very noisy

It was quiet and everything worked well. It was a fun relaxing holiday for the whole family. It was disappointing that the onsite bistro was closed and the information booklet was very out of date.

Well appointed apartment. Spacious grounds kept the kids happy. We spent five nights there and would of been happy to stay longer.

I come here every year, that probably tells you i love the resort very much. Enjoy all amenities and how relaxing the atmosphere is. Alot to do.

Great place for a relaxing holiday on the Gold Coast. Very scenic with a fabulous pool and lots of activities to do - paddle boats, mini golf, par 3 golf, tennis courts, large games room. Not too far from Nerang shops and about 30 mins to Surfers.

This property has a small lake and park area with turtles and birds and kangaroos. We had fun walking about the lake and feeding the turtles. The room was a good size for 5 people and the staff were very friendly

It was peaceful and spacious surroundings, a great place to relax and also an ideal place for families to stay. My daughter and I enjoyed feeding the cockatoos, ducks and other birds from the lounge room.

Stayed three nights. First shower boiling hot. No cold coming out of the cold tape. I had to wash with a large saucepan filled with warm water. Next day it was fixed. Last day NO WATER IN SHOWER AT ALL. I tried to wash in the small vanity in the bathroom but at 60 years old it wasn't easy and I couldn't wash my hair. I left there very upset. Only compensation offered was the use of the showers down by the pool that was a hike from my room and unacceptable when you pay that sort of money. I was very disappointed.

Perfect for families.
This is a nice place to stay. The 2 bedroom apartments aren't 'flash' but were comfortable and have everything you need. There was a well equipped kitchen with oven, stove, full sized fridge and additional electric frying pan and grill. The best part of this place are the extra activities - paddle boats, kayaks, mini golf, table tennis, spas, pool, sauna and tennis courts. These are all provided as part of the rate. It is set in extensive grounds with several BBQ sites, a beautiful lake and wildlife. I noticed that families were able to bring their bikes or you can arrange hire. The size of the resort means that you are not bumping into other guests all the time.This is the second time we have stayed here and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Pool,spa,tennis,paddle boats,canoes, bike track or walk to the hinze dam Games room table tennis, pool tables, video games Shopping centres in town 10mins local Nerang RSL was fantastic for dinner meals delicious and reasonably priced Your 20-30mins from beaches and surfers paradise

Nice spot on the lake to be awoken by the friendly ducks and goose. Facilities are a bit dated but it was all presented in clean and tidy condition. Rooms well appointed with all the essentials. Also warm and cosy. Great spot to stay for a wedding up the road. Not sure about the time share paraphernalia, and lack of free wifi. Otherwise great

Country resort in Gold Coast hinterland
Check in from 4-5pm only was silly, everywhere else starts check in at 2pm. Bistro decor dated, needs facelift. Bistro conserving energy by only using 1/3 of the lights so couldn't see what we were eating. Pool/spa area excellent. Grounds very pretty with resident animals and playground. Goose a bit noisy during the night. Nothing for young children to do after dark. Games room suitable for older children. Nearest shops 10 minute drive away. Shai in the bistro was very helpful and good at her job. Bedrooms not dark enough, lots of light coming in.

Our first trip to the hinterland and we found the resort very well located. We didn't manage to get a meal in the bistro as it was closed on Monday & Tuesday (the nights we were staying) which was unfortunate. Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. BBQ facilities were top notch and apartment's had all necessary implements for cooking and cleaning. Very happy to recommend and will definitely be back.

Great holiday destination for the family. Service was good and so were the facilities for the kids. Resort is on the older side but we could see renovations happening. Will definitely consider this place again.

The place was awesome. I like how there are a variety of things to do on the resort for the family. Wished we stayed there longer to experience the resort better. We really enjoyed our stay.

Simple Family Getaway 30mins to Surfers
A simple family getaway which was cost effective and close (30mins) to Surfers Paradise. Receptions is only open during office hours, that can be difficult to work around. Evening "entertainment" is very limited, noting that not much happens at the resort itself but this is manageable if you enjoy staying in the room, on the 'balcony' (which does have a great view) or heading off into one of the nearby town centres in the evening like Nerang, Robina or Gold Coast areas. All in all, a very basic setup but a true getaway if this is what you want.

Quiet surroundings
This motel has everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. The wildlife situated on the property is interesting. There is a pool, 2 spas and a sauna available to use as well as kayaks, paddle boats and a mini golf course. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms have everything you need.

Spent 4 nights over the Christmas weekend after deciding to get away from the usual rush. Units were clean and reasonably appointed despite being older. Restaurant had a very complete menu to cater for all tastes including special dietary requirements (e.g. gluten free). Wine list reasonable and very well priced. Facilities were better than you would expect at the price......paddle boats, kayaks, great heated pool and spas, BBQ areas etc......loved feeding the turtles. No extra charges for these facilities. Kids enjoyed the games room as well as minigolf and a 9 hole pitch and putt course. We had a good break and will return.

We really enjoyed our time here as the activities were great for the kids. We were down for a sporting event so weren't able to do everything we wanted so will come back again for a holiday.
