"Good location, clean but small rooms."
The hotel has nice rooms, with AC, a good shower/bidet but not much space in the room other than the bed.

Hotel De Monti

"Small hotel offering warm hospitality."
We stayed at Hotel de Monti for 6 nights during our first visit to Rome. It felt like we were staying in an apartment (hotel occupies the 3rd floor of a building in the Monti neighbourhood, no elevator) but we had a lovely breakfast served each morning (menu choices are typical local fare which you select the day before) and had our room tidied up and fresh towels provided daily. Mauro, our wonderful host, was very helpful to provide sightseeing tips which helped us to plan our itinerary, miss crowds and take shortcuts. He was also very helpful in accommodating our special requests!

Hotel Navona - Rome Hotels

Hotel Navona

Via dei Sediari 8, Rome - Map
The hotel Location was excellent. Would book again purely for this. A few steps to piazza Navona, round the corner from the Pantheon & minutes to Spanish Steps. Right in the hub of all the action, but tucked away in a quiet street. So many restaurants, bars etc.. on doorstep. Area feels very safe at night & not far to walk back to hotel. Also easy to pop back in between excursions during the day to freshen up or drop bags off after shopping. The hotel itself was ok - a bit functional, but then you get what you pay for. The beds were comfortable & the family room that we stayed in felt spacious enough. Would have like a full length mirror & the bathroom was tight with shower unit in bedroom. I felt that the photos made it look slightly better than it actually was. I think a few more practical touches like mirrors, tables etc in room would have made it more comfortable. The staff were all great & really went out of their way to help.

"Very convenient location in the heart of Rome"
Very good location set amongst the cobblestone streets near Piazza del Popolo. Conveniently located, with popular sights such as the Forum, Colosseum, Capitoline Museum within walking distance. Lots and lots of shopping in this neighbourhood. Vatican is a mere 3 stops on the subway (Flaminio station), which is a 5 min walk from the hotel. Room was very well laid out (Classic Suite), with a huge bathroom (rainforest shower + soaking tub). Staff generally friendly and helpful, although at times a bit cool and aloof. Rooftop bar is nice place to have an evening cocktail and also serves as the breakfast area. Breakfast was ok, with a mix of pastries, omelettes, bacon and sausages, fruits and yogurts. Cappuccinos made to order. The hotel has a list of recommended restaurants that are worth the visit (and not overly priced either). Babette and Osteria Margutta were both very good recommendations. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Teti - Rome Hotels

Via Principe Amedeo 76, Rome - Map
"Hotel is close to the train station. "
The staff was helpful and spoke English. The rooms were small, but clean, and had good quality mattresses. There was no view out of the window but because we faced the alley it was relatively quiet. We enjoyed the Continental breakfast that had a variety of options, yogurt, cereals, fresh bread and pastries, jams, ect. It has a great location and is reasonably priced.

Hotel Luciani

Via Milazzo, 8, Rome - Map
"Good location, a place to sleep"
The hotel is seconds away from the main rail terminal which makes transfers from the airport extremely easy. I had a single room which was compact and very clean. The building is maximised to include as many rooms as possible which means noise can transfer but thats down to patrons rather then the hotel. I had 2x quiet nights and one listening to my neighbours tv. Walking distance to all major attractions its the perfect spot for a weekend break.

"Not The Ritz but value for money"
Had read terrible reviews and was starting to regret my booking, which I had been enticed into making by an incredibly cheap offer. Perhaps it was my low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room WAS shabby, but was very clean, as was the bed-linen, which was of good quality. The wardrobe had enough hanging space for my 4-night stay, and there was a chair, a table and a bedside unit with a shelf inside. The promised TV and hairdryer were also present and functioning, and the light switches and lights were well placed. The bathroom was small but had everything I needed. The two worst factors were that the room was very cold, especially as it had a tiled floor and no rug (was told that the heating didn't come on unless the temperature dropped to 10 degrees C), and the pressure in the shower was pretty bad. It's a shame when you have to pluck up courage to take a shower!

"Basic hotel, great location."
My grandaughter and I wanted to share a memorable trip, we got the shuttle bus from the airport for 6 euros, and walked around 10 minutes from bus stop to the hotel. It was 5 minutes from the Vatican, and the hop on hop off bus stop. Also very near to the Castel Saint Angelo and the bridge over the Tiber. If you want a basic clean and friendly hotel, this is it..good value for money considering the excellent location.
