Our 5 night stay started out rough, but it all worked out very good because of the fabulous service of all staff.
We booked the large 2 + 2 apartment for our family of 4. It’s on the first floor, but kind of an awkward walk to get to it. The kitchen is tiny. There is one small room with 1 queen bed & one large room with a king bed & a twin bed. The large bedroom and living room each lead to a small patio. There is no view at all. Yet, we were happy with our choice because of the size, comfort, cleanliness and updates.
Then, we were woken up at 7am on day 1 by crazy loud construction. My hubby complained and was told it was the property next door which shares a wall with Aenea, so the options to make it better were limited (other than asking them to start later).
Staff was super nice though, and made us a priority. They offered to move us upstairs to the 1 + 1 apartment or give us a full refund if we wanted to leave. They let us visit the other apartment to see if the noise was a problem for us, and it wasn’t. We decided to move to the apartment upstairs.
By far, it was a great move! The 1 + 1 apartment was super roomy for our family of 4 (2 teens). The queen bedroom is far enough from the living area which is good for privacy. Behind the living area there are two beds (queen & twin). The view is great from there!
Out of the 3 hotels we stayed at while in Italy, we all agree we were most happy and comfortable at Aenea. We’d totally stay here again!
