“Last minute booking that we enjoyed very much.”
We booked last minute based on the rate and map location not expecting a whole lot. But the service was excellent, rooms were very comfortable and clean and the kids enjoyed the pool and patio facilities. The restaurants and bar were also very nice with excellent service. The hotel was also very close to the main shopping area and the Bow Valley River. We will be going back.
“Family Fun in Banff”
This hotel has become a family favorite. My children love the pool and hot tubs. After enjoying time at the pool, it's off to our favourite shops downtown. We can park underground and easily walk anywhere downtown. As my children get older, I will bring our bikes as the bike path is 1/2 a block away along the river.
“Would stay again”
able to walk to all downtown shops from hotel. Had 3 teenagers with me and the pool area was nice. Cost of room was good for that area.
“Comfortable and Convenient”
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in Aug., 2008, and were very satisfied. It is one short block from the Bow River, is near many restaurants and shops, is near several trails, and is two blocks from a grocery store. Our king bed room was large with a sitting area and balcony with a mountain view. The bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff seemed very willing to answer questions and help and appeared to enjoy their jobs! Would definitely return.
“Amazing place!”
Fairmont Banff Springs is outstanding. The location, the history of the area and the hotel, and all the hotel facilities/amenities are wonderful! The food was fantastic although the service was not the best for the two meals we had at the hotel. It was a holiday weekend which impacted the wait staff, I'm sure. I highly recommend the place. The views from the hotel are amazing!
“we will definitely stay here next time we are in Banff”
We liked the fact that we could walk anywhere from this hotel.
“Great location and I will go back”
After 10 hours drive from Vancouver, I collected about a million bugs on my car! All dead! I get to wash my SUV from the complimentary carwash inside the hotel parking right after I check in! I love my car clean! Little thing like this already made me feel good about this hotel! Room is clean and the location is very good. Pretty much walking distance to downtown.
“Highly Recommended Hotel”
First class hotel. Conveniently located to downtown shops and restaurants. Clean, quiet, and courteous staff overall. Nice morning buffet.
“Great location!”
Excellent location. We've been to Banff many times and this was by far the most conveniently located - very close to all the restaurants and shopping.
“Nice”
Arrived to a nice, clean hotel. Great location right down town.
