The Bungalow's were awesome. The living space was so cute and comfy. Steve and Sharon were great hosts. We absolutely loved the beach just near the bungalows. Also it didnt hurt that there were a mama/baby wallabies just near our bungalow.

The fact that the property is also an animal refuge was a great find.The owners were of great assistance on checking in and gave us a lot of information on surrounding attractions.

Absolutely excellent , Steve and Sharon excellent hosts gave us lots of local tips . Very clean tidy tasteful . And they save local wildlife Stunning 130 turtle recovering while we were there plus wallabies And other assorted creatures . Totally recommend

Good not great
Ratings were high so expectations were high. Reality was slightly different. It was clean but had an odd smell. It is really a prefab building at the end of a dark path. Breakfast. Was not continental, it was sad.

Thanks Mark for the fabulous review it was dark because you checked in two hours after latest check in time and we presumed you were not coming after trying to contact you. The fact that you were sitting and having a wonderful dinner until that time giving no consideration for people that may be waiting for you to arrive. We do not provide continental breakfast only a welcome pack for the first night and some booking sites refuse ti update this information that has been requested many times. Our rooms are clean and the only smell we could find was from your bathroom toilet not being flushed from your Thai dinner the night before. Enjoy the rest of your travels down the coast!

Thank you and really happy you enjoyed the stay especially seeing all the wildlife that live here in the rainforest. Also for those that don't know we rescue and rehabilitate wildlife of all walks including marine such as sea turtles.

Lovely Garden with close Proximity to Animals
We enjoyed our stay and especially loved the animals surrounding our bungalow (the hosts do good work saving animals). The location was good, although for us a little further from the hub of Mission Beach than we thought. The bungalow was very clean, but came with a lot of rules. We felt a little tense about leaving stains on towels or sheets, since then it would have cost extra. We were a little disappointed about not being able to cook. When we rent a bungalow or apartment vs a hotel room we usually expect to be fully self catering. There is not even a decent salad bowl to provide cold food. We do not use microwaves. A big Plus was a good bath tub, really enjoyed it. Also Sharon and Steve are kind hosts.

You were fully aware of the kitchenette facilities when you booked we are a guesthouse providing grocery cutlery microwave bbq everything you need to self cater unfortunately this was not satisfactory for you. You did enjoy the stay though which we are happy for. Thank you both!

Hidden Jewel
Steve and Sharon operate this quaint resort located in Wongaling Beach, part of the Mission Beach area, several hundred meters from the beach. One of the outstanding features of our stay here was the fresh fruit salad provided daily. The pool area is a spot to decompress and there are a number of activities that can be undertaken in the area. We were there in a quiet part of the season and finding open restaurants was a bit of a challenge. Definitely would recommend this location for anybody looking for a quiet place to stay.

Relaxing
We needed a little R&R and this was the perfect spot. No children splashing in or running around the pool as this is a couples only accommation. Our hosts Steve and Sharon provide a wonderful healthy and fresh breakfast every morning. We would definitely recommend the bungalows.

Little piece of paradise
For a start, we weren’t there long enough. We had a family of wallabies just outside our bungalow. They were so cute!! The bungalow was spotless, & very comfortable. There were bikes for hire. The owners Sharon & Steve couldn’t have been nicer. Nothing was too much trouble. We would go back in a flash!! We loved it!

Superb place to stay in Mission
Looking for a peaceful place in a wonderful setting to stay in mission then this is it. Lovely cabin set in tropical garden with great facilities inside and out. Run by Steve and Sharon who are fantastic hosts, this place is a small piece of paradise.

Excellent condition poolside bungalow. Very good breakfast & good facilities. Hosts are super friendly & genuinely care for wildlife. Was great to meet all their pets. Good location, not far from Mission Beach. Good value for money, would recommend. Shame we were only staying for 1 night.

A relaxing retreat
We love staying at Boutique Bungalows for a number of reasons (we have stayed here numerous times). - Mission Beach is a lovely relaxing beachside town with some lovely reataurants and cafes. - Boutique Bungalows is a hidden gem. The suites are intimate and surrounded by lush trees and a gorgeous pool. The rooms are spacious, clean and fresh and have all the appropriate supplies. - Steve and Sharon are welcoming hosts who provide a fresh breakfast and great suggestions of possible activities to do or things to see while staying at Mission Beach.

You couldn't do better!
We enjoyed two wonderful nights in this unique and charming accommodation. Steve and Sharon truly run a boutique business with three lovely bungalows set amongst a beautifully landscaped rainforest setting, through which wallabies and cassowaries wander comfortably. The bungalows themselves are bright, spacious and immaculate and the bed was comfortable. We barbecued one evening and enjoyed dinner on our own deck. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed to prepare a simple grilled dinner. The included breakfasts are wonderful and nutritious with plenty of fresh fruit, pancakes, cereals, yogurt, toast, etc. Steve provided a map of the area upon arrival with loads of useful information on things to see and do as well as restaurant recommendations. WiFi signal was good and speed was decent. The most unique part of the experience was meeting several of the orphaned and injured wildlife creatures under their care...very interesting! Highly recommended!

Perfect place to relax.
From the moment we saw the Rainforest setting we started to relax. The pool was beautiful and the gardens gave you the impression you were in the middle of a Rainforest.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet, lush surroundings, large, clean rooms and great, warm service. Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruits, pastries and cereals, we were left wanting nothing. Definitely stay here again.

The hosts, Steve and Sharon are generous with their time and the suggestions of what to see and where to eat were valuable. The continental breakfast was generous in variety and amount. Three days was not enough. I would unreservedly recommend this B&B. The danger in doing so it might be booked out when we return to Mission Beach.

Nice private hotel with clean rooms. Hosts were very friendly and went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Got to see some wildlife hanging around too. All in all a perfect place to stay and relax.

The bungalows are walking distance to Woolworths. The rooms were clean and tidy. There is plenty of room for parking and the owners Steve and Sharon are very friendly.
