"This property is a lovely small cottage in Volcano. Suitable for individuals or couples it is small but features a full kitchen, has some breakfast items stocked by the owner, and was very comfortable. The owner was very gracious and it was great to meet him in his nearby artist store. Volcano is a small village only a couple miles from the national park so it was perfect for rapidly getting in and out of the park and is centrally located on the southern coast of Hawaii for day trips all over..."

    2.0 star property
    8.0/10 - Very good (208 reviews)
"Unfortunately, the room had a strong musty, mildew-like odor that reminded me of an old attic. We had to keep the dehumidifier running 24 hours a day just to make the room more tolerable. The smell made the room feel dated and significantly impacted our comfort during our stay. The location is a major advantage, as it’s very close to Volcanoes National Park, making it convenient for exploring the area. If you’re only planning to stay a night or two and mainly need a place to sleep, it may be..."
