"Urban Hive is an excellent hotel. Recently renovated so everything is new and exceptionally clean. The staff are wonderful and always willing to help. The pool area is lovely with amazing views. It was most welcome to find a proper shower by the pool that we could use to freshen up and change before heading to the airport. Only a few minutes walk to Gran Via and 3 metro stations very close by. There is a supermarket just around the corner. We would definitely return and would highly recommend to others."

"Great location to be. Very close even for walking to destinations if you'd like. The Royal Palace is within walking distance. The Templo de Debod is nearby too. You should check it out for the sunset on your first nights stay. Otherwise, the breakfast in the morning was great. The service staff were very kind and helpful for recommendations of places to eat. The room was spacious, bathroom had a tub with shampoo, body wash, soap and such. Blacked out curtains. I would stay here again if I'm back in Madrid!"

"Clean eooms. Honestly the complimentary breakfast was the highlight for me. Definitely would return for that. Low light was having issues with the room key constantly not working and having to get it reprogrammed each day, quite annoying."

"While the room was clean, the severe lack of basic amenities made for a very uncomfortable stay. There was no tissue available in the room, absolutely nowhere to hang or store clothes, forcing me to live and dress straight out of my carry-on bag.The room amenities were practically non-existent: no coffee machine, no microwave, and no ice machine on the property. To make matters worse, the mini-fridge provided was incredibly small and completely broken. The most frustrating part of the experience was the air conditioning system, which automatically shuts off during the night—right when it is needed most to sleep comfortably during hot summer days. Cleanliness is the only positive here,"
