"We loved the room and outlook. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and bathroom facilities excellent. Spacious enough for the grandies to visit! The welcome gift for my birthday was lovely. What could be improved (in our opinion) - the airconditioning control was confusing and not as warm as we would have liked. lack of a central light in the bed/ sitting area. power points for our bedside CPAP machines were behind the bed. We didn't discover this until checkout and had to use an extension cord from the little kitchenette. more black tea varieties would be appreciated - eg earl grey and a strong breakfast tea. bowls and spoons so we could organise simple breakfasts like cereal. We found the Union Kitchen unsatisfactory and the coffee was cold and bitter. a microwave would also be useful for hot snacks or reheating takeaways. "I originally booked the stay as a writing retreat weekend for myself but ended up with my son and granddaughter coming as well. The property was wonderful and very quirky with all home comforts. Nespresso machine a great bonus. We arrived late and it was dark - the wood burner was set ready to just light which was perfect. Balcony is idyllic giving you the feeling of being in the trees. Location wise the beach was at the end of the road 200metres away if that. An ideal weekend break an hour from Perth loved it. "

"The apartment is modern, spotlessly clean and well-stocked with essentials located in a very quiet street. The hosts were accommodating about our late arrival. It's in a great location near the coast with an excellent coastal pathway, restaurants, an Irish pub, shops, and has easy transport links to shopping malls and the train station. Highly recommended and we are returning very soon!"
