"Convenient and clean hotel close the beach and easy freeway access to everything else Santa Cruz has to offer. The staff was very friendly and patio at the restaurant was very peaceful. We have stayed there several times and find the freeway side buildings to be extremely noisy. The light coming through the door at night was a bit annoying and the daily charge for parking was a surprise and seems unnecessary. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Towels were not replenished the second day. We were given complimentary bottles of water when checking in, and that same water was $3 ($5 for Fiji water) in the room. . Why charge for water? Seems petty. Not our favorite place in the Santa Cruz area but we will probably stay there again due to the location."

Exceeds expectations with the complimentary bottle of wine and snacks in the room, motion activated lighting under bathroom counters to guide the way to the toilet at night, the low step in the shower to put your leg on to shave. The pool was fantastic, as was the Aperol Spritz. The location could not have been better. Valet parking so easy. Helpful, effective staff. Everywhere I looked there was some decorative accent impressive enough to photograph. I could hear the ocean from my pool view room. I’m leaving against my will, can’t wait to go back. When I get home I guarantee no one will greet me with a smile and glass of champagne!"

Michelle is the perfect host, answering any questions and dealing with any issues that we may have.The location is amazing-1 block from Black's beach.The layout of the home is perfect for our family get-together. Lots of bedrooms and hanging out areas.The amenities are well stocked-paper products, soap, towels, beach equipment.We will return every year. It has become a family tradition!!"
