The breakfast was worth the price many options for dietary needs and healthy options.the property is beautiful and has a swimming pool, walking trails and right by the beach. My husband is a teacher and chaperoned fifth grade here for a week long field trip in May, and that’s how we found out about Asilomar. He said we need to go with our little family! Loved our stay, we plan on more weekend getaways here! The beach is beautiful (I’m from Australia, so I know beautiful beaches) and the weather was perfect.

The location is excellent and it only takes a couple minutes to walk to the Asilomar State Beach. It's very quiet. The rooms are located in various buildings throughout the property which is nice for privacy but can be confusing sometimes to get back to your room. The guest check in building is very beautiful and has an Awanhee vibe with craftsman architecture and stone fireplace.

This is a great location, could hear the waves from my room, could walk to the beach and watch the spectacular sun set. The room was spacious but there were some ants they got in our clothes and belongings. Enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evening. Stayed here for one night. There were some deer on the property which was cool to watch.

The location of this place is beautiful. I enjoyed my three day weekend here with my friends. As I checked in, the staff was very helpful with the accommodations I requested. I appreciate them very much. It was easy finding our room and loved the easy access to parking. I would say that my favorite part was the walk to the beach. Woke up at 6:30am and enjoyed a nice chilly walk down the trail. Overall, really good experience and would definitely come back

I think if the cost of the stay was in line with the quality of stay then visitors would not feel as though they did not get their money's worth. The room was so small and the beds were so tiny. My three young boys could not fit on the "double" and they couldn't bring us a cot so one of them had to sleep on the floor. We paid over $300/night for what should have cost $80. The best part of the stay was the board games you could check out at the front desk. The staff were also nice. You could tell they receive a lot of complaints.
