"Not bad! The room didn't have a bathroom attached to it, there were multiple bathrooms per level, great location, and importantly, it was clean. There was one incident where my mom called the front desk and the front desk person said I wasn't checked into the hotel instead of just passing it to someone that could understand her question... Overall, really good. I came back from an excursion earlier than expected and booked this hostel again. I recommend and would stay again."

"Stayed three nights and the staff were amazing, helped with tours and were really friendly. The rooms were decent size and comfortable, also more private beds than most hostels. The toilets and rooms could be cleaner, but it wasn’t dirty. Decent breakfast - bread, jam and fresh fruit."

"From day one, the guys who work here not only speak English. They took us out to Karaoke and some even showed us a day trip on motorbikes to the outskirts of Hanoi! This also includes a real free breakfast! Eggs, toast, tomato, yogurt, jam, butter, coffee, etc. Do yourself a favour and stay here! 10/10 Wish I was in Vietnam longer, I'll definitely be returning!"

"We arrived earlier than their check in time but they let us check in early anyway. The staff also helped to give us recommendations for places to eat and helped with directions, and they even gave us a deal when we bought a case of beer through them! Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful ad the facilities were great for the price of the stay!"

"BC Family Homestay was a clean , tidy , safe place to stay. it was well priced and provided comfortable bedding and towels bur what what I really want to talk about is the staff. they are incredible! from the first welcome to the last goodbye they went above and beyond I got my phone stolen out one night and the staff at BC were amazing and understanding. I was frightened from being mugged and they helped me calm down and what I needed to do, they sorted me a ride to the police station and...

There was no elevator, but most of the rooms seemed to be on the main floor. The lock to our room was very poor. It could have been easily picked by a child. But we had no problems. "It would seem that this is a place where people have decided to stay long-term, for purely a bed, a place to shower, and it being minorly cheaper than other hotels and hostels. The guy beneath me seemed to have made it his own place and snored like it too. "
