Perfect chillout spot!
Perfect spot to chill and recharge with bikes, kayaks and SUP supplied in a luxury home! Just minutes away from beaches, cafe and the pub!

Tranquility in Toogoom
We loved our stay here. Just over the road from the beach. Small problem with getting in, but that was rectified so quickly. We loved how the property had one big ‘adult’s retreat’ upstairs with its own kitchen and bathroom and then further bedrooms downstairs. We also loved breakfast at Goodys before we left. Thank you Mark for a wonderful stay. It was very special to stay there with my sister and nephew visiting from the UK. We’d love to come back with some friends

Just what we needed
We recommend the property, hosts and location highly. It is a large and beautiful house, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It provided much more than we needed and being just across the local cafe made it super easy for great coffees and meals. The beach walks during low tide were spectacular and just what we needed.

Fantastic!
Beautiful property. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Perfect for my family of 5 and 2 dogs. Loved the styling and details. Lots of games provided was a bonus. Great garden front and back, providing a safe space for the fur babies and kids. Really close to the water and so good to have use of the kayaks. Really peaceful area. Wish we had stayed for longer.

Perfection…
We honestly felt like we were holidays the moment we turned the corner to sight this incredible property. It’s a really special place with gorgeous craftsmanship & details throughout. The lovely hosts haven’t forgotten a single thing & we absolutely loved every minute. It’s so well located with a wonderful cafe & seaside restaurant just across the road, a very short stroll or ride to the swimming beach or lake to kayak. The property was so well styled with great inclusions, our son loved the games room & the tandem bike was a hit too, we’re really looking forward to returning in summer, Highly {highly!} recommend this property.

Great for place for a family
Its one of the few places we have stayed where the property is better than described. The location is perfect - 1 min walk from the beach; the house has EVERYTHING and more - there's an arcade machine, games etc; the three bedrooms are a good size and the beds are super comfy. Its 15 min from Hervey Bay and if you prefer a little peace and quiet, Toogoom is a much better option than staying in Hervey Bay.

The ultimate home away from home!
A lot of care has been taken to ensure this home offers everything that you could possibly need for your stay. Beautifully styled with so many visual delights everywhere you look. The kitchen has everything on offer that you could need. The bathrooms are stylish and super clean. Very relaxing parent retreat area upstairs with a large deck- perfect it have your meals on and enjoy the view. Really large yard and our fur baby had loads of fun and space to run. Kids loved the games room which entertained them for hours (parents too) with the arcade games and dart board. Massive TV (also in 2 of the bedrooms) perfect for movie nights. Had a great time with the canoes in the protected beach area out front. The trolleys provided made it easy to transport them to the waters edge. Perfect home in a perfect and tranquil beach on the Fraser Coast. Check in was super easy thanks to our friendly hosts well described process and open communication. Have stayed in many holiday homes and this is up with the best. Highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

This is a beautiful place, carefully managed with all the details considered and taken care of. The place is beautiful and has so many areas in for you to escape to and have a peaceful holiday, or you can go down to the games room and have some fun. The Pac Man arcade machine was a blast, along with the ring toss, darts, and other games. Watching some TV with Stan and Netflix included on a big high-quality screen was amazing to. Great location with nice long peaceful walks, and a great restaurant nearby (Salty Squid). This was a great place to stay, and was luxurious, fun, and peaceful, and exceeds expectations.

This was a super clean, fun beach house with lots of amenities and cool furnishings - and Mark was a great host and quick to reply to questions and share info. Great for our pup too. The house has cool entertaining areas and some quirky designs like vintage doors and a hidden laundry! The kitchen has loads of appliances, even a slow cooker so we were able to do a lot of fun cooking. There is lots of fenced yard area (we loved playing darts, big couches to relax on, dining on the deck and the air con was fabulous when we needed it - in any of the rooms or living areas. It's just a few metres walk to the beach and boat ramp and the two restaurants and an easy bike ride around town. The only thing we wanted for was perhaps an inside table to play games and dine on when the weather turned bad (it rained for a day or two) and we couldn't really eat on the outside deck like usual. And because of the rain and the proximity to the creek, the midgees came out in droves, so please be aware and have insect repellant or avoid being out in the yard in the morning or dusk as they can get quite bad. We just unfortunately struck a period without wind and post-rain which made it worse. If you have a boat, the boat ramp is just across the road. Apart from the midgees, it's a great part of the world and a fun place to explore!

gorgeous property!
This was a delightful stay in a truly lovely home with lots of thoughtful touches. Things like tissues and shampoo and laundry detergent make such a huge difference when travelling from interstate and needing just a few of or a little of everything. The sofas are a joy to relax on and we loved the location and the dog beach (and thanks for the dog towels! ) and the light-filled house. We slept soundly and walked a lot and met some really nice 2 and 4 legged people on the dog beach. We have highly recommended this home to our friends in Brisbane. We'd definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely beautiful house in great location
Villa Sunshine is a spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated house. We loved the luxurious touches - scented soaps, soft towels and quality bed linens. So many interesting features in the house too. Our pups loved the big garden, with enough space to catch the frisbee and play fetch. Close to huge dog friendly beaches too. Highly recommended.

We could not praise this property enough! Full of character, yet once inside a very modern open space layout with beautiful fittings and furnishings. Everything you need is here. I couldn’t believe how so many extras were supplied such as clothes washing detergents and spray, let alone all the cleaning tools you need to keep the home as beautiful as when you arrive - and it is so easy to maintain. Although it rained most of our time there we still got to walk on the beach, the entry is only a short stroll away. The 2 restaurants in town are only 20 metres from the front gate - you don’t have to worry about parking or being a designated driver! For the days we were rained in there are plenty of board games and darts ( all supplied) to keep you entertained, and if they are not enough the 76” TV with Netflix and Stan (supplied) definitely keep you occupied. It was amazing looking out to nature from your bath or shower in the downstairs bathroom - you can shut the blind, but there are no neighbours behind you so privacy is assured. The kitchen had everything that you needed for all cooking needs - if you needed to cook. 2 coffee machines were a godsend and the coffee was supplied. It just couldn’t get any better. We loved our stay at Villa Sunshine, in fact we didn’t want to leave and extended our stay as long as our work permitted. We will definitely be back.

Our family were so impressed the moment we arrived; the property is lush and secure (perfect for fur babies); and there was so much to see even before making it inside. Once inside, the decor, the furnishings and furniture were beyond our expectations. We highly rate this property for holidaymakers that want a carefree, and luxurious stay in Toogoom.

Home away from home
The villa offered all the comforts from home. Good aircon and wifi. Thoughtfulness with little things like laundry liquid and sugar to milk and bottled water in the fridge. The internal decoration is very tasteful and the house is easy to keep clean. Our 9 year old loved feeding the fish in the fish pond at the front door. Goodies and the Salty Squid is very close and handy if you don’t feel like cooking. Hervey Bay is an easy commute if you need larger grocery shops ect. Small convenience shop located close by for bread and milk. The dogs also loved the house and daily walks on the beach on the doorstep. We will be back for sure. Now that the secret is out , we will have to book in advance.

Sunshine Villa is a beautiful spacious house with everything you could possibly want. Mark & Karin were very welcoming and accommodating. We loved the area too. If your looking for Serenity this is the house for you.
