"I have stayed in other facilities in the area which were very good, so I was disappointed in Miyashitaya. I was under the impression that the price included breakfast but it did not. There were no full sized bath towels provided, just the little Japanese onsen towel which is difficult to dry off with. "I loved the onsite Onsen and style of traditional Japanese hotel rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful! Amenities were great! Beautiful hotel room view! The only downside is that the hotel is located on the outskirts of Nagano, so plan ahead as it’s not easy to reach via walking. Shuttle buses are readily available however to help get around."
