"The location was great and the rooftop terrace and pool were lovely. The front desk team should advise guests at check in that it’s only accessible via a separate service elevator. Be sure to walk through the LA Central Library next door. Its interior is amazing. There are free docent tours available on certain days/times of the week. Breakfast and room service started at 7am which was later than we would have preferred since we had to leave at 7am to make it to our business meetings. The bathroom needs a towel rack or retractable line. There is only one hook and no where to hang towels and the bath mat which means they’re in a wet mess on the counter. The Hotel only provides housekeeping every two days which means you have to request new towels (and coffee pods) be delivered to your room. I would have been happy to use the same towels during my stay if there had been a rack or retractable line to hang them so they could dry. The bed and pillows were comfortable however the design is not accessible for people with mobility challenges. It’s on a low platform which makes it challenging to get in and out of bed. One of my colleagues had an injury and was staying in an accessible room which had the same low platform bed as the other rooms. There really should be a rubber bath mat or grab bar in the showers for anti-slip purposes. Otherwise consider using a hand towel on the shower floor for extra grip. The bar fridge didn’t keep food or drinks cold. "

"For the historical factor it’s amazing. For room size and cost it’s just okay. Location was what I needed but I’ve stayed just down the street at the Hilton and had a better experience. "

"This hotel is lovely. Staff were so friendly, everything is new and clean. It is a little noisy as it’s in DTLA but I’m famously a light sleeper and was fine. They have earplugs and a white noise machine. The bar wasn’t open the days I was there but it’s close to a lot of good spots. They provided toiletries and face masks which was a lovely touch. My only suggest for improvement is to get better hairdryers- they have Con air which famously suck long hair in and damage it. Otherwise a lovely stay. "
